How can people hate so blindly? How can someone who knows what it's like to be victimized still find the nerve to pass it on to someone within their own community?

What I'm getting at is members of the LGB community. I'm leaving out the "T" in this case because there are some members of the LGB community that just can't stand the thought of someone being physically gay and mentally straight. As I write this, I know of 3 lesbians who are extremely offended by transmen.

"Why can't you just be lesbians like us? What's wrong with being a lesbian? Why go change your body so you can be straight?"

Are you FUCKING kidding me? Sexual orientation and gender identity are SEPARATE things. Getting shit from homophobic jesus jockeys is nothing new for my fellow transfriend and I, but to get it from people who are commonly put in the same category as us, the lgbT community... is a new low. His lesbian neighbors hate his guts for being trans and my own lesbian aunt no longer supports me now that I identify as a transman instead of a lesbian.

Seriously, people. We're human beings just like you. We have emotions. We cry. We bleed red. How hard is that to understand?
This is more of a rant than anything. I'm so tired of people being so holier-than-thou towards the trans community.

even transpeople do it too. To their own community.
